US President Donald Trump watches visiting South Korean President Moon Jae-in leaves the White House after their meeting on Tuesday. A South Korean military spokesman said late Tuesday the summit will likely take place after June 25, after US-South Korea war games end. It unilaterally suspended high-level talks with South Korea, blaming US-South Korea military exercises that Pyongyang said are a rehearsal for invasion. Pyongyang also warned that if Washington calls for "unilateral nuclear abandonment" by the North, it "cannot but reconsider our proceeding" to the Trump-Kim summit. He said he will not repeat the mistakes of past administrations, asserting they gave North Korea too many concessions despite the country not abandoning its nuclear arsenal and infrastructure.
